Tim O’ Brien-Chicken King

Tim O' Brien-Chicken King

This is for the cover of Smithsonian magazine, it’s called Chicken King. The cracked effect gives the appearance of age. The colors give a opulent and decadent feel, appropriate considering the subject matter. Instantly recognizable as Henry VIII by the Tudor dress and iconic pose we start to forget how odd the image is and get lost in the textures and rich palette used by Tim O’ Brien. 🙂

I was curious if you ever considered changing the page layout of your blog?

Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.
But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with
it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or
two pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?
